Important information for students in Co-op Education Programs

Sep 16, 2011

The Co-op Education Department at Niagara College is now even more focussed on student-centred career preparation activities. Starting this term, students are no longer required to take the Career Planning (CPLN) credit course to prepare you for your work terms.  Instead, we will be providing a series of workshops and an individualized plan to help students prepare for and successfully obtain co-op employment.  It all begins with a one-on-one appointment with a co-op consultant from your program area that you need to book online at our new career portal launching soon!

We are scheduling workshops and meetings with students based on the timing of the co-op term within the program to ensure support is provided to those that need help first.  Further information on workshop schedules and services will be provided through both Blackboard and the Co-op office.  If you have questions, call, email, or drop in and see us.  We are open and ready to see you Monday to Friday from 8:30am  to 4:30pm.
